5k & the FUN RUN

My friend & I ran in a 5k. After the 5k, they had a 1 mile Fun Run. So my friend & I ran with the older boys & the dad's pushed the little ones in the stroller. Tony even passed us while pushing the stroller near the end. Collin got a little winded & we had to walk. :)

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. The kids had lots of fun opening their presents and eating their candy. Of course Collin was the first one up & of course he woke up his sister. Then he had to patiently wait for us to get the camera's out & all of that good stuff. Avery ate tons of M&M's & smeared chocolate on the carpet (chocolate handprints that is). Oh well, it will eventually come out!

Collin's Birthday Party

Collin wanted a sleepover for his birthday party. He's been planning his birthday for about 6 months & I'm not kidding when I say that! So we let him invite 5 friends to spend the night. They played Legos, had a Wii Bowling Championship, watched movies, ate pizza & cupcakes & ice cream, opened gifts, played pin the tail on the donkey, made a craft and decorated cookies. I kept them busy to keep my sanity! They actually all had a great time.

Thanksgiving in Utah

We had a great time (as usual). We went to the Dinosaur Museum, High School Musical on Ice, had the kids pictures done, had a nice Thanksgiving meal & MORE. We were glad to go visit, but glad to come home to Tony & Stan. :)

Collin's T-ball

Collin played Fall T-Ball again & LOVED it. He got to play on the same team as one of his friends in his class. He also played on the same team with a little boy a few houses down from us. He was very excited about playing with his 2 buddies.

It all sounded so much better in theory. I wanted Avery & Collin to coordinate in some way with their outfits. I knew that this year was the only year I would be able to do it because next year Avery would pick out her costume. So my choices were limited when Collin wanted to be Bobo-Fett from Star Wars. So Avery was Princess Leia (honey buns and all but she wouldn't wear the honey bun hat), & Stanley was Darth Vader.

Game day is so much fun for us. The whole family gets on our Georgia Bulldog gear. We are definitely "fish out of water" living in Florida when it comes to football season!

Well we got a puppy. We had to put the cats to sleep. They were old & each were having problems. That day was hard but we (or I rather) survived. Anyways, our puppy is a beagle & is 6 weeks old. He's a little cutie. The kids & Tony just LOVE him & I tolerate him. He's a lot of work.

First Day Of Kindergarten!

Collin was excited to start Kindergarten. His class has a little mouse & 2 frogs. He was very excited that they had class pets. :) When we got home from taking him to school, Avery was looking for him & kept pointing to the door saying "Col Col." She was so excited to see him when we went to pink him up.

Party like a Rock Star

Avery has discovered Collin's sunglasses. So now she wears them ALL THE TIME. It's so cute!

We are cooking Avery for dinner!

Avery is constantly taking pots and pans out of the kitchen cabinets. I will "find" them in her little play kitchen, in the family room, in her room, you name it. Well on this day I found her sitting in front of the TV in the frying pan! :) She's so cute!

Camping Trip

Tony decided to take Collin camping last weekend. The campground was not far from the house so Avery & I went to help them get set up. The campground had tent sites, cabins and tree houses. Tony asked Collin where he wanted to sleep & of course he said treehouse. When Avery & I left them, my car thermometer read 95 degrees - it was HOT! They had fun fishing, eating junk food & roasting hot dogs & smores. At 9:00 that night, I hear the laundry room door open & see Collin. They didn't even make it the night! Collin was playing with the flashlight & saw a bug in the treehouse & freaked out screaming that he wanted to go home. So Tony packed up & they came home.
