Piggy Bank
Last night we walked down to our neighbor Scott's house and got on the topic of Piggy Banks. Scott asks Collin if he has a piggy bank, Collin tells him that he does. But in reality, Collin doesn't have a piggy bank. So when I tell Scott, "No he doesn't have a piggy bank." Scott goes and gets one that he has laying around & gives it to Collin. It's a cute little pig made out of a resin material. We get home and Collin starts hunting for "pennies" - that is what he calls any form of money. So Tony and I give him a bunch of loose change. Well for the next hour or so, he keeps putting the money in the bank, dumps it out, puts it in his pocket and walks around for a minute, then starts emptying his pocket and putting it back in the bank. This vicious cycle goes on for about an hour. So last night Tony puts him to bed and Collin brings the piggy bank to bed with him. When we go to bed, we both go in his room and check on him and his bed is covered in money. There was probably $3 or $4 in loose change all over his bed. So we pick up all the money and put it back in his bank. This morning when he woke up he ran to his piggy bank & started emptying it again. This is going to be a funny thing to watch because right now he just loves carrying that pig around & rattling the change. I think he feels all grown up!
